Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By downloading, installing, or using The Purse mobile application, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
By accessing and using The Purse ("App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. The Purse ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates this App. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on The Purse for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
To use The Purse, you must create an account using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use The Purse, particularly regarding payment and prize eligibility. Users under 18 may not participate in monetary competitions or receive payouts.
You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage is prohibited and will result in account termination.
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited conduct:
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate your account without refund if you violate these terms.
Entry fees are set by individual groups and managed by group administrators. The Purse does not collect, store, or process entry fees. Entry fee policies are determined by each group.
Prize payouts are managed through Venmo. When users receive payouts:
Entry fees paid to group administrators are non-refundable except at the sole discretion of the group administrator. The Purse does not handle refunds and is not responsible for disputes over entry fees or payouts.
Users are solely responsible for any taxes, fees, or withholdings related to prize winnings. The Purse does not handle tax reporting or withholding.
All content in The Purse, including logos, graphics, text, and software, is the property of The Purse or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.
Any content you submit (profile photo, display name, comments) grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that content to operate and improve the App.
PGA Tour data, leaderboard information, and other golf-related data are sourced from third parties (ESPN) and are used under license. Users may not extract or republish this data.
The Purse is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
The Purse is not responsible for:
In no event shall The Purse's liability exceed the amount you have paid to The Purse in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is less.
Disputes between users (entry fees, payouts, picks, etc.) are the responsibility of the users to resolve. The Purse is a platform facilitator and does not arbitrate user disputes.
We will investigate reported scoring errors or data discrepancies. Decisions made by The Purse regarding scoring corrections are final. Disputes must be reported within 7 days of the alleged error.
If you believe your account has been wrongfully terminated or suspended, contact us at ahunter916@gmail.com with documentation of your claim. We will review and respond within 7 business days.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Purse, its owners, and operators from any claims, damages, or costs arising from:
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you:
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your account data will be removed within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Outstanding payouts or disputes will not be resolved by The Purse.
We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes become effective when posted to the App. Your continued use of The Purse after modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using the App.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Purse regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements.
